All of the wedding invitations, menus, placecards, favour tags, favour boxes, church programs, thank you cards, seen on our website are all custom, handmade work by Inviting Ideas.

CUSTOMIZING YOUR INVITATIONS

We have a large selection of papers in an assortment of colours that can be used on any style seen on our website! Invitations are the first impressions your guests will have of the wedding, so let us try to accommodate any themes or ideas you have!

I DO NOT LIVE IN MONTREAL, HOW DO I ORDER WEDDING INVITATIONS.

We have worked with many brides all over North America. The starting point is to review our gallery of wedding invitations and point us in the design direction you are looking for. Colors, format etc...From there we will create a few ideas for your wedding invitation. All the process in done through online collaboration and is clear and staightforward.
We will be introducing our new online website, www.i2cards.com, which will showcase our wedding invitations for purchase online.

MONOGRAMS

Many of our styles use a custom monogram that is based on your names. We have over 35 different monogram choses to chose from. If you have a custom monogram that you have designed we can certainly incorporate that into the design of the wedding invitation, or Inviting Ideas can create a custom designed wedding logo for your wedding invitations.

INVITATION POCKETFOLDS

All of our invitation folders/pocketfolders are custom made in-house at Inviting Ideas so we can change many of our folders, adding or taking away pockets, changing the style of pockets and the orientation of any of the invitation folders (vertical to horizontal and vice versa) and the paper colour they are made in.

INVITATION WORDING

Once you have chosen the style of invitation we provide a few traditional wording layout templates for you to use as a guide to start from, but if you have your own wedding wording in mind, we can definitely use that instead as long as it fits within the amount of space we have to work with. If you want to add a short poem or verse to either the cover, or tag/seal of the invitation, that can also be done.

ADDITIONAL INVITATION INSERTS AND MAPS

You can include additional inserts to go along with your wedding invitations. Most common inserts used include: maps, direction cards, reception information, donation cards, additional RSVP cards, hotel accommodations, travel information, gift registry and an entourage list. They are all printed on white or cream cardstock to match the wedding invitations.

MORE THAN ONE LAYOUT OR RESPONSE CARD

If you need more than one layout (for example if you are inviting some guests to the church and reception and some guests to the reception only) we will happily do that for you. Just let us know how many of each version you will need. We can also print response cards with more than one response date if needed, free of charge!

BILINGUAL/MULTICULTURAL INVITATIONS

Alternate languages can be used. You can either make the entire wedding invitation in one language, or if the style allows for it, include an additional language on another attached insert, or as an additional insert in the pocket of the invitation. The other option is two create two versions of the wedding invitation for each language.

INVITATION SIZE

We have a wide range of sizes for your wedding invitations. The most popular size we use is 5.5 x 5.5 inches with the envelopes being 6 x 6 inches in size. We can alter the invitations so that they are larger or rectangular however, larger sizes will incur more postage and more material costs. Most of our invitations do require extra postage not because of the size but because of the thickness of the overall package. Please check with your local post office for more information when mailing the wedding invitations.

We get many requests for different formats of our invitations we will provide our expert opinion on the requests that you may have to ensure that your montreal wedding invitations come out beautifully. As you can see, all of our work is custom and handmade, so we are able to accommodate most requests.
